  1. LOL... I've got the skull door locks, but they're genuine vintage ones I bought at John's Rod & Custom about 10 years ago. :)

I thought you said it was blue. You're such a stylemaster.

  2. Nicely done Ben.

Another beer to be added to your collection/carton on Saturday.....;) :D

    Cheers,

    Drewfus:)

  8. Looks real sweet, Ben. Can't wait to see it in the flesh!.....

    You certainly have been busy.

  9. Sweet stuff Ben. You gonna run a rubber seal along the bottom edge of the frames or leave it bare?

Stupid question: do you need to run wipers?

Actually went past your place on Friday night taking the back roads down to Geelong to tinker with my LaSalle motor. Saw the lights on in the shed....figured you musta been busy on somethin'.....now I know what!

  10. I'm trying to remember the magic number that anything below that was classified as a wind deflector not windscreen, I think it was 6"......

My Dad's mate did it to get his car engineered, then swapped it later, saved him having to have 3 wiper arms :)

As far as i know wipers arent required if the top of the screen is below the horizon from a drivers point of view.Mind you i could have just made that up.but its what ill tell the cops, using my old jedi mind trick.

    Ben,

    Its in here

    http://www.dotars.gov.au/transreg/vsb/PDF/Street_COP_sec_7.pdf

    Scroll down to windscreen wipers.

The top of the screen has to be below your normal line of vision. That's not just below eye level. You could always sit on your esky. That should bring your line of vision up a bit.
