I cut up and fitted the oak for my bed. Sandblasting the bedsides and supports is next.

Found a radiator and fuel tank for the HA/GR. Started to remove the motor from the donor truck and decided to wait until next weekend when the rain should be gone and the temps just right for working on cars.:D

Pulled a nice 364 nailhead out of a 58 buick 4 door with Brad54, then put it on an engine stand in my garage. Woohoo. That will be a fun project.

I got most of the picket fence built for my halloween display

    Material : 1X2 lumber, 1/2" PVC, #6x1" wood screws
    Cut 77 pickets (qty 39 40" long, qty 38 36" long)
    Drill 154 7/8" holes (2" side of 1x2's - for pickets)
    Drill 154 1/8" holes (1" side of 1x2's - for retaining screws)
Mark each picket @ 5" and 30" (built a cool little jig to do this)
***emble each fence section (alternate long and short)

18V cordless drills DO NOT like 7/8" spade bits!
Had to dis***emble my 1/2" drill motor and 220grit the brushes to bring it back to life.

All that's left now is paint (black of course) and final ***embly in the yard.

sat pulled the AC units and cleaned up alot around the house.

sunday gutted the interior of the shoebox and started pulling off the ****PY patch panels someone had put on the rockers. pop-rivets are NOT acceptable ways to install patch panels!

and what the hell did ford put on the floors of their cars in the early '50s? thats some tough tar!

Did some body magic on the rear quarter, sanded and got it primed Saturday. Also made a template of the rear shelf cover, going to try to make a new one. Had a bunch of family stuff to do Sunday with the wife the kids...TC

  10. I helped some parts to change owners and landed a really cool pair rollers for the rear of my roadster.

Basically not a damn thing that looks like progress. But what the hell it was the weekend.

  13. Worked on someone elses Cutl*** - finished welding in the boxing plates for the frame and grinding off rust. Also found some more issues with the frame - had to weld up another rust hole.

And removed the interior of the camaro to scrub it and make it all purrrrty so it gets sold.

And dropped by my engine guyr about a 455 for the cutl***. We searched his core storage and found two 455's, a 403, and a 350 olds in there. The 403 block is like no other I have seen...the webs are solid instead of windowed.

We also moved his older stuff to the storage shed. The flatties went - two B's, two 50 ford flatties, and a merc. The buick nailhead went, the 312 went, the red ram went, the 265's went, and the 235's went. We were contimplating moving the OHC six poncho and the 283's, but got lazy.

Saturday rode around with Shoe picking up and delivering MC parts, and watched Brandon stripe some stuff...the man can flat out lay lines...tried to talk earl schieb outta stuff he's "gonna fix up one day"

Sunday helped my buddy Steve fire up the 65 Caddy I sold him - literally, we had a little underhood fire action. Motor purred for a little while.
Took the hood off my '54 panel in preparation for a motor swap. Got stuff cleaned up around the house, drank some beer, watched some football.
