Danm, I feel like such a dumb*** asking this and I swear I've searched around the board before asking...can't find the answer so here goes. I see some posts that have thumbnail photos posted, always in groups of 15 pictures, with the wording "atttached thumbnails" at the top of each group. When you click on a thumbnail it opens into a full size shot. How is this done? I notice that some thumbnails open into larger, almost full screen shots, while others are not so large.
When your making a post theres a box under were you put text that says additional options w a ****on that says "manage attachments". Click that and a box pops up were you select a photo from your computer Select and open the photo you want and click upload When loaded close that box and the photo is ready to submit. Note If photo will not load its to large also post will not submit without some text / you must say something w the photo. Good luck
I'm sure lots of folks here are tired of hearing me say this. But posting photos in this way involves storing your image files on the Jalopy Journal's servers. It's a courtesy that Ryan provides for us, that he doesn't have to, and he doesn't charge us for the privilege. So consider downsizing your photos before uploading them to the servers here. They seldom need to be bigger than around 800 x 600 pixels for web display. You'll find that they upload faster, download faster when you open them onscreen, and the servers here can hold a whole lot more of them.
