38 ford pu front spring

Ok so I just started a 38 ford pu that Im bobbing. I got a 38 axle with wide 5 drums and wheels. I want to move the axle a few inches forward to center it under the x member and run a spring over axle as apposed to the stock 38 set up spring forward of the axle problem is I need a 33" spring to do this (properly anyway) But I cannot find a 33" spring anywhere. Anyone have any thoughts on this before I spend big bucks to a custom spring made.

 

i think Posie's has a spring for that

 

Detroit Eaton Spring will make any leaf spring you desire. Call them with your wants.

 

Looked at posies, couldn't find one.

 

Model A spring is about 31". HRP

 

31" is 2" to short

Posies does make the correct spring for "spring over" on a later axle like yours. I think it also comes in 2 versions; stock or reversed eyes

Look under "front springs" 28 to 34 years, not the later 35 up listings
