Projects Picked up a 40 Chevy Coupe

    Found this the other day. I've driven by this storage place daily for 30 years. She's been setting there since 82. Taking her home and hope to be driving soon. Guy I bought her from quit driving it when the vacuum ***ist started acting up.

    nice find. i'm sure it won't need to much to get it running. but driving, gas tank, fuel lines,brakes hoses, wheel cyl. ect: ect: keep at it. very nice.:)

    Yep, I've gotten a few old relics rolling again over the years. I've got the front end tore apart right now and headed rearward next. Then the fuel system. Like eating an elephant, just 1 piece at a time. All the parts are there, and if I can keep it close to stock I will. If I run into something major then all bets are off. It's only money and you can't take it with you.

    A buddy of mine has one, though he is running a Jag IFS. The nicest driving car I know.....
