Event Coverage The Rodder's Journal Revival: H.A.M.B. Parking

  1. Plenty of great food in Baltimore neighborhoods Canton, Fell's Point, Federal Hill, Little Italy and Corned Beef Row. HarborPlace is a little touristy but nice view of the Harbor. There's a Tilted Kilt in White Marsh.

Well, lets see the photos folks. Give us a look see at what is there.

I never quite understand the thinking of the guys who want an event moved so it will be closer to them rather than planning a serious road trip to go to what is fast becoming a great event in a nifty place. This is another one of those events that warrants doing a serous road trip that might be combined with stops at a few other places along the way coming and going. For those of us in the west or south maybe hitting the event and then cruising though New England if the colors have started changing and seeing a few of the historical spots that would be great road trip photos spots.
The big problem this year is that it is the same weekend as Day at the drags at Little River in Texas. Makes it a hard choice for a lot of the Texas guys. I could even get in a trip to see the inlaws and little River for the drags and have a happy wife. Hell we did a lot of our dating at Little River when I ran the Gray Ghost in 1969 there.

Mr48Chev, you are also right on. A group of us old Early Ford V-8 folks drove from east to west on a cross country tour this June for a show in Lake Tahoe. We made all kinds of great stops on the way out and back. Basically a trip of a lifetime. 7,000+ miles in a 77 year old car. I am ready for another long road trip. Heading for the Moonshine Festival in Dawsonville, GA, end of October. Maybe a run to Bonneville for Speed Week in '14 or '15.

Hey, maybe we could get the LA Roadster Show moved to the East Coast. LOL :D

  5. Can anyone give me a clear answer to this, If someone rolls in tomorrow (for Sat. only) one car, one driver, one day, not pre-registered, what does entry cost?.........Thanks.
