The taillight bezels look about like mine so will you sell just a pair of lens instead. I would love to have the handle & 3rd brake light lens
The tail light bezels differ between Coupe & Sedan. Also that isn't a "3rd" brake light, in OEM form it's the only brake light!
Oh yeah mines got junk in the trunk! But I'm basically polishing a turd at this point! I've got a plan that will involve different tail lights (possibly stock) and a lower profile license plate bracket/light set up. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using H.A.M.B. mobile app
I know mines a turd...but its my turd and I've shat it all by myself so far! Im just enjoying getting some miles on it! My goal is to get it safe reliable and somewhat comfortable (for the wife and kids) then put some moles on it over the next year or so before a full tear down and re build! I've got a lot of links to tech threads for these cars in my build thread! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Here are some photos of it at home. I started sanding around the back window when the crummy da sander broke so I hastily masked off where I had sanded and sprayed it with etching primer. After getting another da I resumed sanding. Got to get the roof and top of cowl cleaned up and the rust stopped. I'll go the lazy man's way and use electrolysis for removable parts such as doors, hood, fenders. Any and all advice is welcome.
You would be suprised how much of that surface rust will come off with CLR and it actually leaves the paint under it pretty clean! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I'll give it a try there's nothing to lose. I need the stainless trim piece an the side of the cowl and the PLYMOUTH script that goes on the nose of the car as well. I washed the windows to make me feel better when I look at the car LOl and used the aluminum foil duct tape to close off the drivers side windshield that was busted out. The cowl vent has some rust thru so it will get the tape treatment too. I spent some time with my metal stretcher and shrinker doing a mock up piece for the damaged cowl vent opening and am happy with the result so I'll use the metal brake at work to bend some 90s on some 18 ga and work on making the real cowl patch at home. Nothing but fun especially once I get rid of the freaking wasp !
Have any of you pieced A front fender together for of these cars? The bottom of the drivers side front is badly bashed in while the upper doesn't look all that bad.
Some progress... bought the rocker panels from Rock Auto and the piece on the left end I made . I'm not happy with the way the doors stick out beyond the face of the rocker panel. The stock drivers side is flush with the face of the doors so something is amiss possibly from the factory ? After looking at this last photo I don't think it ever fit right. What do you guys think?
On my 46 SD the doors protrude beyond the rockers too! I'm thinking this is factory, there is a piece of trim that some cars had on the rockers but mine shows no evidence of trim clips. good to know I can get rocker panels though, Do they have inners available as well? I am replacing the whole floor and rockers, thats all the body work mine needs. Looking forward to watching your build progress! Jay
