I have been a fan of primer most of my life ,hence the username HOTRODPRIMER and I absolutely love the look of fresh primer,I love the satin finish and whether it's Black,Red or Gray it works for me but after all the years with cars & trucks primed in my favorite swede finish they all looked like **** in 5 months.

Then along came Kirker with their SG Black finish,I tried it and I'm sold it's been on my pickup for 7 years now and I really like the way it has held up. HRP

As HotRodPrimer states above, Kirker SG Black is great stuff. Flows beautifully and looks super. I've been a Kirker user, cars and aircraft, for many, many years. Best quality and excellent fair prices. All their products are the best bang for your buck.

HRP your truck really looks great. I'm seriously thinking of doing my truck in HRP this winter. #1 My paint job is from 1997 with many battle scars such as chips, scratches, fading, multi colors on some areas, ect. #2 I really like the look of HRP with some ole school pinstriping. And # 3 I can do it myself. Also want to add a 3 duece carb set up so I gotta start saving up my allowence.

What a sales gimmick. They should be calling it Hot Rod Finish. Primer is something that you paint over.

Here is the model A coupe we just finished. We built a custom frame for it and powder coated it flat black. It matched the black primer really well. The owner says he plans on painting it. I have a feeling he won't.
