What a great day of racing! Made 12 p***es on my just finished this week 34 Plymouth coupe. What a blast! There were hiccups as the track officials tried to figure out how to run the "quick 8" in each cl*** and let the rest of the cl*** run against each other randomly. As soon as they figured that out, it was on! Good times, lots of great cars and people. I had the coupe out for the maiden voyage down the track (my well laid plan to run slicks fell apart when the wheels with the slicks needed different lug nuts....). Still ran 11.20 on street tires and on pump gas. 10's are around the corner... not bad for a 3220 pound coupe (a lot lardier than I thought). Most importantly, I didn't crash or break anything. Good times, come join us next time! Thanks to everyone who put it on, I am looking forward to the next one.
Nice! I was hoping to make a few 60ft/660ft p***es but ran into some snafus earlier this week with it. Hope it returns next year
