Model A Roadster Tops Done Right!!!

I apologize if it is already out there, but I did a search and found nothing. I would like to see a thread on Model A roadster tops done right. Chopped, styled, etc. It is one of the hardest things to get right on an A roadster. Show us some pics!

 

no one? I knew it! There is no such thing as a good looking Model A roadster top! haha

I have seen some beautiful Model A roadsters and when the top goes up they become the ugly girl at the dance. I am just curious if there are some tops out there that are done right!

I like the use of the original style bows!

 

I did not build this car, but the guy I bought it from said he used a gl*** top (from Wescotts I believe) for a '32, and modified it to fit a Model A. If interested in the details, let me know and I will try to call him and see if he is willing to discuss this with you.

 

Yeah I have often thought of the possibilities of a Carson top also Cool!

 

Here is one I found on the web not sure who owns it but the top looks clean!

Well here's my 2 cents. Eddie baumann's 29 is absolutely perfect! I'm just sayin...
So I don't have one yet but a 28-29 roadster is next on my list!

great pics guys! In my opinion ths top can make or break the car. Some good looks here!

 

nice hammerdown, the a tops generally look to boxy for my taste

 

If you go to the TRADITIONAL section of the site & search "roadster tops" you'll find many threads w/ pics.
