SWEET!!! I should stop opening these early Falcon/Comet threads. The last thing I need is another project car.

Roy, I have calverts split mono leafs, and bars. At full droop, (not much droop at all) I still don't have enough room to remove the rear tires. And, they aren't that big at all, just big for this little car. Lol.

I got the brakes & the clutch plumbed, pain in the ass bleeding them by yourself, but I got it done. Just received the correct starter from MSD, (I ordered the wrong part number, had them exchange it for the right one) installed it Thursday, and got the pass. side header in too. Busy family weekend, but I'll try to post more pics when I can.

Not yet mike, but I did get a lot done tonight. Waiting on a o-ring for the distributor, I just didn't have time to pick it up. I also have some more wiring left to do, but I just might get it running by Sunday.

The fuel cell is mounted & plumbed, mounted the coil, put in new plugs, wires, and the distributor. There is just so many time consuming little things left to do, but I'm plugging away at it.

Weight of my falcon without me in it. 2,644 with me. All together, it's probably going to be under 2,750. 200 lbs less than I was shooting for, so I'm pretty happy to get from 3,250 to where it's at now.

Got the dimmer switch. Also, I got the vent, and quarter windows in. Waiting on ups for the small stuff I need for the door glass that will be here on Monday. I'll have all the glass in Monday night, and shocks & springs for the front too. Getting close! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1379643392.748867.jpg

I modified a gauge panel to accept auto meter gauges, turn signal, and high beam indicators, installed it, and got all the gauges & lights working. Hope it's nice out in the morning, I plan on painting the bumpers, and while they dry, finish up the wiring. The new drive shaft will be here Monday, get that in, and check all the nuts & bolts under the car. I still need a shutoff valve cable, and a throttle cable, I'm going to measure for them tomorrow, and order them on Monday. I just might get it driveable by the weekend.

I got the front coil over shocks in the car on Friday, painted the front & rear bumpers, and put the rear bumper on tonight. Ordered the throttle & shutoff valve cables today, should have them on thursday. New drive shaft will be here tomorrow. I just might get this thing moving under its own power by the weekend.

I've been in the garage for over 6 hours trying to put one piece of glass in the pass. door of my 63 1/2 hard top falcon. I cannot get this dam thing in, anyone care to point me in the right direction before I lose my F'ing mind?!?

is the wing window and front track assembly loose? If I recall the top of the frontrack needs to be agled back and then insert the window into the door at a 90 deg angle. You have to get it started in the track at the bottom.

Well guys, thanks for the help, but I found my problem. Me. I'm an idiot. I had the window track at the rear of the door upside down. Got all the windows in Thursday night, worked on the car every night for the past two weeks & made it to Atco for the Philadelphia Modifiers race. The cars 1st pass ever, right off the trailer was an 11.82 @ 117 mph. It's got some more in it, I just have to get it to hook.

Also, to anyone waiting to hear back from me, I'm sorry to keep you hanging, it's not like me, but I was a man on a mission. After working 10 hours days, I was in the garage until midnight, or later for two weeks. Getting back into the grove as of today, and I'll be back to normal tomorrow.
