Can someone help me price a 1928 Ford Roadster?

    Here are the specs:
    Built in 1960
    Fibergl*** body (very nice condition)
Nice interior (but tight for a taller person)
    1950 Flathead
    Italian S.C.O.T. blower
40 brakes and 3 spd trans
    Columbia 2sp rear
    Vintage gauges, etc.
    Runs excellent

I see prices for cars like this all over the place.
    Any ideas?

I like the look of it over all, just not the paint.
Your asking so; My best guess would be about $10,000 ,maybe if it runs and drives real well, could be more?
As for built 1960?,I don't see that in the rod,but was made to kind of look 60's I think. All just a guess,in the end its what you can get for or sell it for in the real world, not the guessing world.;)

Actually I met the guy who built it in 1960. The way you see it is as built in 1960. There is plenty of do***entation, old pics, etc.

Didn't realize they were making gl*** Ford bodies in 1960?

You couldn't build it for that.

The blower and rear end would be half of that.

I'm thinking 16-18K, but the gl*** body throws me off.

Same reason I posted, the person selling is at 20K. Not sure what it is worth with the gl*** body. An engine builder told me 20K for a fresh flathead with a new SCOT. Then there is the Columbia and everything else. Of course all used, but in good shape. I wish I fit in it better.

  7. In 1960, Model A Fords were still seen nearly every day as second cars or beaters for teen drivers. I remember being able to buy decent runners for a hundred bucks, or so. Clapped out, but still running heaps were 25 or 30 bucks. I can imagine anyone, back then, making gl*** bodies when a good steel body, even a roadster, could be bought for chump change.
I do know that there were a few gl*** bodies built in that time frame, but they were light weight shells for racing and nothing like the bodies being built today
