I was a SEMA chassis builder (# 25) in Lexington, Massachusetts in the 60s and 70s building mostly altereds, funny cars and dragsters We also did a fair amount of roll-bars, suspensions, and other chassis modifications. Over the past 10 years or so I have reconnected with old racer friends and recently have been playing with Ed Pearsons AA/FA Cackle car. I am trying to find pictures of cars I built ( Tropeano Chassis) as I never took pictures and have long since thrown out my business records. We sold a few cars to Fred Forkner in the Delaware area , I remember sending an altered frame to the mid west and a Jr fuel car to Canada. I am also trying to track down an A/G Anglia-- popular in the northeast known as the Orange Peal ( my first race car). A person on Cape Cod claims he has it, but after I did some more research it turns out not to be the original. (After I started my chassis business I built 4 or 5 anglia gas coupes for customers.)
Welcome from Woburn! You might want to post your query for pics of your cars in the main "Traditional Discussion & Happenings" section. It will get more attention for sure.
Here are a few pics Pete. Been trying to find info on the ol' Orange Peal. It was good to meet you at the drags the other week.
