Will 16" '48 Ford Trim Rings fit '50 Chevy Pickup Wheels?

I've got a set of four '47-48 Ford stainless beauty rims for sale, and someone asked me if they would fit his '50 Chevy 16" truck wheels. Anybody know for sure? I'd guess they would as long as the lip is not to shallow. I can always offer to buy them back if they're not quite right, but if someone could chip in an answer it would save some h***le.
