I'm running 225/75 r15's on my Buick right now. I want smaller tires in the back so I can lose a couple more inches in the back. Anyone now the smallest tires I can run back there?

Your car weighs about 3800 lbs empty, so figure about half that on the rear axle. You need tires that have a safe load carrying capacity of about 2500 lbs (for the pair) to allow for moderate loads. That is a minimum safe approach.

A 60 series tire will reduce sidewall height by quite a bit, especially if you drop to 205 or so width.

However, you will find the speedo will be off, the engine will be turning faster just to keep up with traffic and you gas mileage will drop. If you can live with all that...well.....go for it.
