M***achusetts is considering the SEMA modeled Street Rod and Custom Car Law this month and I was wondering if this law has helped any of you guys in states that already have it or is it another gov't scam.

  3. What does the law read like?........I've never heard of it.(nothing new)

  4. I think it is an improvement for the hobbyist ,in most cases....some states have some pretty non hobby related laws on their books!

SEMA is good for the car guys. We in PA. have it good, no limit to usege of your street rod, yearly inspection and tag cost but we can drive them where an when we want.

Yes, but don't you have to have a hood and fenders in Pa. State mandated vehicle inspections. You also have to have melon protectors on motorbikes. If this is true, what is good in Pa.? Not to bust on PA, but any law latley is another one too many if you ask me.

It's probably good, I grew up in m***. I always got har***ed for no fenders or no hood, my car was towed once for no hood by a m***. registry cop, they ****. The only problem I see is your going to have to run a plate that says street rod, my advice is move to another state.

You live in the land where we know what's best for you. Sit quietly at the table, play nicely with others and don't eat the crayons. We'll let you know when the bus has come to pick you up.

Out here in Idaho we have USRI. http://www.usri.org/
The lawmakers now have worked with us enough that when something new automotive comes up they bring it to our people first. We put out campfires before they become forest fires now.

Yea, I was born in Philly, same neighborhood as Bill Cosby and Grace Kelly. That's why I live out here. Place just wasn't the same after **** Clark and Bandstand left...

Too many wierd car laws and restrictions. And too many suicidal deer when you get out of town.
