Technical rear suspension travel

    Building a model a coupe using a 40 rear end and spring. I will be zing frame and extended. How much travel do I need to leave between axle and the body. I'm 200 lbs + passenger. I don't want to have a bottoming out problem.

    3 or 4 inches and run a snubber block /3 is ideal/

    agreed, 3 is about right. that's with the weight of the engine/trans/body
