I'm sure this question has been brought up on this site somewhere.I am in Fla. and it is a ***le state.What is one to do to get an original ***le for a late 20's to 30's era automobile if it doesn't have one without having it inspected and turning it into an ***embled from parts vehicle?

 

I don't know about florida, but in arkansas you can get a court ordered ***le, in actuallity your lawyer challenges the state to prove that you don't own the particuar vehicle that you are wanting to ***le. In arkansas it cost about $250.00.

 

find a friend in georgia, a bill of sale state on older cars.

 

How does that work in GA?

Well, type in Broadway ***le Company Inc, they are in Birmingham,Alabama & there is an online form you print off. Then for 149.00 you do the deal and they end up sending you a "bill of sale" that you can take to your DMV to get registration and ***le. Gary 4T950 Chevy Guy

 

Buy a piece of historical paperwork,"***le", use the numbers off of the ***le and put them on your frame and go get a tag.
