I love old trucks, but Im sure glad I didn't have to earn a living driving them.

  3. I wonder how many of the dual engine COE Fords were made and still exist. And the sightliner IH is very interesting ... again is there any still out there. I just want to add that it stated the Ford COE shares the egg shaped grille with the conventional nosed trucks. I don't know if they meant they share the design, because the grille is different, close but it doesn't fit.

This photo brings back a good time in my life,I helped my uncle during the summer as he ran his delivery route driving a Coke truck that looked very similar .

I made a few bucks and drank a lotta of Cokes that summer.:D HRP

  5. Darn good question. There were at least three different builders of twin-engine Fords. At least one tractor survives, in Texas I believe. Looking for any and all info.

My Dad driving the Cab-Over delivery truck from a family furniture business in the 40's.
A couple of haulers I helped a friend with in the early 90's. Both trucks became his moving vehicles when he left for the West Coast in 93.
