Making another trip to Melbourne Oz to visit my car buddies in November. They were here last summer and bought two cars... so now I will get a chance to ride in them on the wrong side of the road :). Planning on doing the Bright Rod run and the Bendigo swap meet. Bringing lots of stuff to sell at the swap. It should be way too much fun !

Got a few days to play during the week.... looking for fun car stuff to do. Traditional rod shops, HAMB members who want to show off their rides ? I am always interested in 32 and 36 fords :). Please give me some ideas. My car buddies are not into the traditional rides... so I might need some guidance.

Worth going to John's rod and custom picnic on Sunday 3rd at Sandown raceway Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Smaller than Bendigo swap meet but good meet with car show attached is the Pegasus swap meet at eastfield track in Croydon outer East Melbourne on Tuesday 5th (Melbourne cup public holiday)

  5. Hey FalconMan, have fun. Are you bringing lot's of merchandise in your suitcase.? Better make sure you can convince the paranoid Aussie customs that it,s only gift's that you have with you. Heaven forbid ;)that you would just come to Oz to make a profit .

Hey Merqry56, What and where in Croydon is the Eastfield track ? Ringwood was my home town.

Bringing 3 checked bags at 70 lbs each. Got a new set of American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels, a bunch (10 sets) of 50's 15 inch full size caps, 55-56 ford radios, mirrors, vintage sbc valve covers, etc....

This will be my third trip to Bendigo. My mates have a spot up on the hill with a big tent and plenty of beer :)
