  2. I long for the days of retirement Don, but also trying not to wish my life away while doing it! :) Tim won't be joining me this year as he and his sister are taking care of his ailing mother. Trying to find another copilot as we speak.

Paul Behling from Shadow Rods in Michigan can't make the show this year, BUT he created a really cool '32 Ford 5 wdw coupe 1/18 scale Acme Trading Company model for the Auction. He scaled down the Jalopyrama logo as well as the show advertising poster and carefully placed them on the model. The model is a combination of two '32 Ford Acme models to make one. ALSO, he modified the box art to reflect the model inside.
So bring lots of $$$ for the auction, cause I know this is going to go for BIG BUCKS!

IT LOOKS SO COOL! Many Thanks goes out to Paul for supporting the Jalopyrama and the Providence Center.

  5. Can't wait to see that, Mike. Bustin' up the ole piggy bank even as we speak.........Don.:)

Don, the model car show didn't really take off last year, so Lyle isn't bringing any models.
He apparently was the only one who participated last year.

The Pinstripers will be in the back classroom where they were last year.

    64ONEOFF,
To answer your question about the 62 cutoff - that's because all the cool cars were built before 63:) AND we don't have room for mustangs, camaros, chevelles, dusters, etc...

I think there may also be a space consideration. The Armory is fenced in and there are only so many parking spaces available. The smaller the year range, the easier to fit everyone. Even with the 62 cut-off, it gets pretty crowded.

Yep, gotta have a piece of pie fo sho.

  23. Yes, Beefalo Bob's will be back as will Dangerously Delicious Pies. We will also have another food vendor offering a variety of items from footlongs to subs. We will have some great posters, T-shirts, and other items at the merchandise tent opposite of the food vendors. There'll be a pinstripers' panel jam, an art and other items auction, and great hot rods inside and out. It'll all be here in about eight and half hours! :)

  24. Getting ready to depart. Everyone be safe. Watch for deer!
