If you don't pull the headlights out to the edge of the ring, it's going to look a little bug eyed. In my opinion they look better at the edge of the ring. Keep at it. Cool project.

 

Thanks man and ya I like the bug eyed looked I ended up cuting the bezels down a half inch and they look super great I post some photos soon

 

here some photos of me welding on the 52 merc beezels. I cut them down around a half of a inch to give the look that I wanted to the car

 

Man I really love what your doing to this car. I started building one of these a few years back and was going the same route. Im throwing it out there incase you forgot a bat wing air cleaner would look bad *** on there. Or the one stock one you got all pinstriped up. 3 deuces would look great too. Keep up the great work. This car is gonna be killer.

hey guys sorry it took me so long post a photo of the hood but I been busy the last couple of days here is the hood all welded up and done. I have not pie cut it yet still debating on that....

 

Car is turning out nice. I commented "Billet. Here we go." I wasn't slamming you on it, just thinking you would get a bunch of **** about it. No offense intended.

Debating on taking 2 inch's out or 1 and half trying to make up my mind lol...

 

Well guy's I took right about 2 inch's out my hood and got it all welded up and smoothed down gonna do some hammer and dolly work and then one more p*** with the wheel and see where it gets me.

Guys I ended up chopping the top today took out 4" in the front and after major debate took out 7" in the rear....more photo's soon

 

Can't wait to see it!!!
