i looked all over my town for some when i needed it right away, i finally found it at a paint and body supply place--3m for 30 bucks. it hurts but how much do you really use at a time? its gonna go a long way

still shocked me a bit though

3M always twice as much, but, twice as good.....tape,abrasives,adhesives,sealers, weld thru primer etc.

I have found this to be the case. 3m stuff is always pricey but worth the extra

Just use your epoxy primer on both surfaces and clean out the paint from the plug weld hole:

This is the same size drill bit I used for plug weld holes that has been flattened and backfaced with a roloc sanding disc to resemble an end mill cutter.

This shows how it works, cleans the paint from the metal surface, but having a flat face on the cutter, it doesn't affect the metal as a regular drill bit would. Notice most of the "chips" are paint....

    And welded......
