I'm putting a clutch cover and clutch disc on the flywheel today. The bolts are 3/8ths grade eight fine thread . I plan on the tourque at 25 pounds. They have the right lock washers but I'm wondering if I should use some blue thread locker?

Here at my shop I always use lock***e on pressure plate bolts and flywheel bolts even if they have lockwashers. I have never had any problems with bolts coming loose.

Lock***e lets go at around 350 F. Will your flywheel get that hot? I'd put on, it can't hurt.

The proper Pressure plate bolts will have a 1/4 shoulder under the threads,,,in other words, the threads do not go all the way up to the bottom of the head
