I have a 350 turbo tranny in my '47 Ford convertible and am about ready to install a new engine and want to swap out the 350 for a 200R4. Any changes to mounting or fitting needed?

bolts in. Trans mount needs to be moved rearward. need shifter cable brackets for a 200. hook up wire to brake light switch for torque conv lock up disengage. Hook up TV cable and properly adjust. This is important.

If not mentioned, you can use your 350 stuff.

    enjoy

The transmission mount sits back further than the th350; the 350 had 6",9" or 12" extension housings if your 350 has a 9" extension you may not have to shorten your drive shaft. the 200-4R uses a TV cable, geometry and adjustment of cable are critical to making the transmission live. Included is an illustration of length and transmission mount location.

Good upgrade. Once you get it all adjusted, you'll love it.

I replaced the TH350 in my GM pony car with a 200R4. Setting up the TV cable is easy. Cross member I had to replace with a BowTie Overdrive tubular cross member. Did not have to change the length of the driveshaft. Readjusted the B & M Quick Silver Shifter by pulling a pin in it and adding the Shift indicator plastic strip with one that included the OD position. Again, very easy to do. Good luck. You will appreciate the upgrade.

Install a Transgo kit and adjust as prescribed.
