Working on my new biscayne, and would like to see some others I could steal .... a errr ...get some ideas from. Looked at Car Nut, and didn't really see anything that turned me on. Now the Green Starliner in Brewsier's club in this issue of S & C rocks! But I was thinking more Hot Rod.... Anyway Thanks!
kinda makes me wish id not cut mine up now i had a '60 impala 4 door pillarless HT, but it was so rotten the roof skin wasnt attached the pillars anymore. and it needed sills, full floors, boot floor, and the lower 6" all round. i stripped it, cut out what i could save (including the rear 3' to make a RPU bed), then s****ped the rest.
MAN ! Just lookin' at the pic of this car make me want to go outside and burn the hides off my junker.this thing is wild
I traded the body and ch***is from this car (Kept the 348 3x2/PG along with the grille guard and the rims and tires)...
And I got these. The copper 60 has had a frame off resto and is all updated and should be a very nice driver. The blue 59 is barn fresh last tagged in 1969 and that's getting the drivetrain and ****ies from the black convertible. Undecided on the wheels.... Travis
And finally... I am about a month away from getting this on the street. I intend to turn around and sell this....
Donny... yeah... the black ragtop was pretty bad off. Everybody loves it and thinks it's cool but two of us think it's a piece of ****, me included. Wife hated it (mussed up her hair) and I was afraid I'd give Dylan (my kid) a sunburn in it. So I decided to move on and play with coupes that are MUCH nicer than that black car. The guy who got it bugged me for SEVEN YEARS. One more project I have since I now have another son (Cole) is I needed 4 doors and room to haul ****... so this is coming next after the 60 El Camino...
CONGRATS!!!!!!!! Cole.... great name!!! lol.... I picked up a 64 riviera recently and am getting that thing togather...plus i've got a 64 impala hard top i'm getting rid of if you know anyone..working for henery chavez...learning lots....KEEP ME POSTED!!!
