Projects 1956 F-350 Build Thread

Good looking truck. I recently purchased a 55 F500 flat bed that I'm planning to do basically what you've done. Where did you get your new F100 fenders?

Can't believe you didn't put the Brockman Husky back on the hood. LOL

 

I got them at Hershey. Got a pretty good deal on them

 

Finally got racks on my truck that I am happy with. We made a 250 mile trip to the produce auction in Springs,PA (where the pumpkins came from). Also travelled to ridgetop orchard in Fishertown along with many more miles of country roads. Truck ran great. I really like it a lot better with these racks on it, much more useful.

Last thing I need to find are long arm mirrors. The F100 mirrors don't work well with racks on.

The truck went to work last week to haul lumber. Hauled 350 feet of 4/4 white pine and thirteen treated 6"x6"x8' posts.

She's a real workhorse!

THis truck turned out sweet I see it often on my way to work, you did a nice job on it. I hope my 54 turns out this nice once I get rolling on her.

Great looking truck. IMO, the black wheels aren't doing as much for the overall look as a contrasting color would.

To me, I'm the exact opposite... I think the black wheels really set the truck off.

55 is a good cruising speed for this truck but it will cruise 60 if needed

Black wheels are staying. I can't think of another color that would look good. The white wheels were hideous!
