Anybody ever seen a Stewart Warner (SW) boost gauge in 2 5/8 (large) I am interested in any vintage 2 5/8 boost gauge if anyone has ever seen one.
I have seen an article for an Eelco boost gauge, it was called a pressure and vacuum gauge. I searched for it but never found one. I have got a set of green line Stewart Warner gauges. I have been looking for a boost gauge or vacuum manifold gauge. I have got a vacuum gauge, but not the pressure manifold one. So basically I am looking for the same thing as you. What did you end up using?
Send an email to Pat Swanson..... theoldspeedoshop@comcast.net , if there ever was any made Pat would know and probably have one.
HAMB member Floorboardinit has this one for sale on the HAMB now SW 2 1/16" manifold pressure gauge out of a 1958 supercharged Studebaker golden hawk.
I ended up using a S/W 2 5/8 Vacuum gauge to fill the hole in the panel. All my gauges are vintage S/W so that's why I was asking. Would love to find a vintage boost gauge but I am starting to think there is no such thing.
This one just sold on Ebay, which might be along the lines you're thinking of. What could this possibly have been from? Those are from the U.S. Gauge Co. out of N.Y.
