Whats up guys my names Bry in 20 yrs old I have a 1951 chevy 3600 project that i've been trying to get to seriously working on for a couple years. Now that i'm working a lot and have a bit more revenue to be able to spend on it i need help, theres not much info that i can find about the frame and suspension for this truck. i wanna do an IFS with coil overs and a 2" drop for the front and posi, four link with coil overs and sway bar for the rear as well as c notched frame and all that good stuff, over all i want it to sit low and mean. They sell all these parts for 3100's but its tough for me not knowing all the technical details to be able to see what will work, what needs to modified, or wont work at all. Any and all information will be incredibly helpful.
    thanks
    Bry

You can certainly find the information on technicals needed to get the job done, but IFS and z'd frames ... Just tread lightly and make sure what you are looking for doesnt resemble a build similar to that of a "rod" preceded by a type of rodent.

Best wishes and welcome from IN, behind these gates lie a wealth of information

I have a 3600 myself. Great trucks. Over on stovebolt.org they do alot of straight restorations but they have a HiPo forum and daily drivers where you can get great advice / how toos. Good luck with your project
