Would anyone have a picture of what the seat mounting brackets look like? Out of 2 bench seats that supposedly came out of a 55, neither seem to be the proper configuration. On one, the brackets seem to fit the contour of the floor but there are no mounting holes on the bracket to attach on the front - the rear of the bracket fits the rear stock floorboard holes perfectly. Howerver, this seat sits way too low.
On the other seat, the brackets are straight and do not fit the contour of the floor.
Any help would be appreciated. My daughter now has this truck in Denver - she can possibly add pix if that would help - Thanks

My original seats and brackets are long gone but here's the picture out of the 1953 F 100 shop manual. I think the 53 to 55 were identical but the 56 was different. THe pre 53's were also different (the F-1 trucks). Hope this helps.

Oh, you can buy some of the original parts or custom adjustable seat risers/sliders from Mid Fifty F 100 Parts (midfifty.com).
