Hi, I am Matthew and my wife is Nicole. We got started in Classic cars when my wifes grandfather past away in 2012. He had a beautiful 1926 Model T and we bought it from the family to carry on his memory. This car has opened many doors for us and we have met some amazing people from car clubs and fellow classic car owners. My wifes father also gave her his 1953 GMC Truck that he drove for work and has been sitting for over 10 years now. Its in bad shape. He drove her to school in this truck as a child so it was her dream to one day have it and rebuild it as hers. I am currently in the process of doing that. I have started by stripping it down and chopping the frame to make it a short bed. I am currently in Afghanistan right now so the build has been on hold but this has given me time to order parts for my return. During my deployment my wife will head back to Cali and work on the body so upon my return I will have only some more stuff to do then get it put back together. Thanks to this forum I have researched many questions and have found tons of answers. Thank you for letting me apart of this iconic group and and I hope I dont let you down
