then I should of got an email stating to remove or they will close the thread, which I never did.. at least that what I think should of happened..

well sorry to all that were keeping tabs on the build, and waiting for me to finish, but apparently the rules are the rules and some self appointed sheriff took it upon himself to close it without any correspondence.. maybe they will delete the profile too since I spoke out of term..

That is so stupid that it was closed. At least one of these moderators really needs to get a life.

I realize your thread was started long before Ryan implemented the new formats and decided it was time to put the main focus on traditional hot rods & Customs,,and traditional style hot rods.

I'm not knocking your build and have followed it but you and I both know it doesn't fall into any of the new formats.

As cool as I think your car is it is more pro street than old school.

Bottom line it is closed but the moderators didn't totally delete the thread.

BTW,I don't think the motorcycle hurt but it sure didn't help!

Just a thought but why not copy the thread and move it over to Dogfight. HRP

cuz I have lots of followers HERE watching my build.. unreal... im not going to move my thread and then add the new updates just to please the boss.. its his site, he doesn't like it, delete the thread and my account. Apparently ALOT of people hate the new rules.

Open my thread again, and sip a tea and relax. I started this build thread is 2009.. when was the brainstorm of changing the site format done? I don't read the small print,, just come in and update my thread, check a few others and go back to life.. if someone has a hardon because my car is more prostreet then traditional, then I don't belong and neither does my awesome PROSTREET car :)

BTW,,be careful about suggesting the boss deleting your account in the heat of the moment I have seen him accommodate several hot heads in the past few months.HRP

cool,, must be cause he deleted a thread that was around so long the people that started the thread don't really understand why..4 yr thread and all of a sudden it gets closed, and I speak up,, maybe get booted from here.. oh well.. made some friends, learnt a few things,, guess the "traditional" route isn't where I want to be as a "car guy"

    delete my account..

I'm impartial having never seen your build until today... I'd have to agree with HRP.

The Falcon is cool, just what I'd expect to see over at a site like "Hotrodders.com" but it's not what I'd expect to see on the HAMB.

The front tubular control arms & the tubbed rear are cool.. but again not what I'd expect to see on the HAMB

And those seats... man what's up with those seats? I'm qualified to ask 'cause I have high back '72 Mach 1 buckets in my Model A....

I love the rules here. Seriously, it's not you and your car thats the problem. He's simply protecting his investment by sticking to a core set of rules. Forums that don't stick to a core discipline turn to ****.

I have to disagree. This kind of silliness is what turns a site to ****. This is as stupid as the tuner kid boards, it's just stupid in a whole different way. The same kind of cliques are involved here. It's just that on the tuner boards they are young ****s and on this forum they are old ****s.

It's really too bad, there are many smart people and neat machines on this board.

Hey fellas... If you don't like the site, find another. No big deal... It's just a website.
