Last night I did a search on Olds rear ends. I want to ID mine. The posts did not answer my question, but someone (don't know who, but would like to buy 'em a beer) put out this info on Fabcraft Metalworks in Southlake Tex (800) 208-8242. Anyhow, I called over there earlier today and spoke with the owner, Brad. Helluva nice guy. He answered all of my questions and explained to me how to ID my Olds rearend. He also informed me that he will be making detroit lockers for these old rear ends (Olds/Poncho). Anyway I told him about the HAMB and he seemed really interested. He is going to do a Tech article in a Pontiac Enthusiast publication (Forgot which one ) Anyway, real nice guy and even took the time to call me back. Check him out.
That would have been me. I do have a soft spot for the olds/pont rears. Saw the spot for them in Street Rodder mag, nov issue. Would love to find out where the tech article he's doing is going to appear. I just bought Rocky's stash of parts. Just have to wonder what the locker is going to run. jerry
I haven't done business with Fabcraft yet but have heard nothing but positive comments on the Pontiac boards about their products and service.
