I just got home from Rays in Southern Indiana near Bloomington. I counted 6 67-69 Camaros, convertible Chevelles and Galaxies, Edsels, wagons, 9 El Caminos, about 10 early mustangs, several falcons, a 64 Comet two door, a 64 Fairlane, several original SS Chevy's, a few Cuda's and a Challanger, several B body mopars, a 59 chevy, a TON of early 60's stuff with engines intact and more. I bought a few sets of wheels and there are many good mechanical parts to be found there. There are about 20 acres of cars on State Road 54. It's not give a way prices but how many old bone yards are there in Indy? Not many. Worth a trip if you get a chance. Most of this stuff is rusted into the ground but still many good parts left. I'll try to post some pictures later. It was sad.

  2. There used to be another one, southeast of Anderson, I'd have to look at a map to see where. They didn't even have a phone, but other yards knew where it was enough to tell me. He was way out in the boonies so it's probably still there -

Seems to me we had to come back through Muncie and go south from there, I can't remember exactly now. I think at the time I was looking for a good '71-'72 Pontiac fullsize deck lid.. came up empty there.

Oh yeah, I also found two AMC 401's, a 401 Nailhead, a 440, a 312, a full set of Fenton Super Sharks (I need a center cap if anyone has one), a couple big block chevy's, a 429 Ford, several sets of aluminum slots, torque thrust style wheels, a couple econolines (including a cool van I might pick up next time) and more.
