I'll bite, i dont post much since I dont have much to add most of the time but here is my 50 Dodge business coupe. My mother found it behind a barn in Pa. She wants this car to run no matter what it takes. I have a ****load of work ahead of me. This is when she found it and how it looks now since we trailored it to NY and I started stripping it and getting it in a coat of primer for the winter. My plans are to put i on an S10 frame, take about 6 inches out of the top, air ride (custom set up my buddy is going to build) power by a 318 Poly, 727 trans and 9 inch rear.

318 Poly is a sweet motor choice for that car. They're an often-overlooked hot rod motor. Would be cool to have a push****on Torqflite behind it with some Plymouth push****ons on the dash.

  8. .

That is cool.....do you have pics of it all the way around ?:)

Yeah, here's a couple, hopefully. I am thinking of chrome reverse wheels on it for spring, if anyone wants to photoshop some on it I'd be real happy :)

The poly and trans I got from a buddy of mine down in jersey, he is a big Mopar guy and happened to fall into this motor and gave it to me. But the push****on is a good idea! i gotta look into that.

The bone-stock 318/torqflite in my '60 Plymouth is plenty powerfull and gets 24 MPG on the highway.

Just remember, if you plan to run a four barrel on there, start looking for that intake now. They're pretty rare.

I think he already has one for me. Should be a perfect set up for what I want.

Here are a couple of pic's of what I have in the works.

Thanks to Chevy38_454, or whatever your HAMB name is, for the rear end.

There is a 26-7 roadster body to sit on top of that, with a 327/PG combo.

I have most of the parts for this 1948 JAWA cycle. Even better is that I spoke with the former owner (name listed on current ***le) and he will meet with me this week to do the transfer to my name. :D I thought that the guy was dead. He lives 10 minutes away from me. The cycle changed locations a few times over the years but was never transferred. I'm going to need a lot of help with this cycle. Is anyone familiar with JAWAs?

And of course there is my 56.

I just pulled this from a field. IT's got 77k original miles and has been sitting since 1981. Last guy who tried to buy it told the old guy it belonged to that he was going to send it to Japan. I'm looking at this 70+ year old guy with a bald eagle on his trucker's cap as he's telling the story, thinking; "what kind of idiot would tell this guy he's gonna ship his bus to Japan?". It's super straight and just about rust free. The grey is oxidized, it's actually dark green!

I'm a FNG that doesn't post to often, even though I come by here 3 times a day to read the posts. Here is my project. It is a 24 C cab on a custom ch***is powered by an injected BBC. The engine in the pic is a plastic BBC with a hemi valve cover hanging on it.

Volkswagens aren't very "accepted" around here, I don't think the moderators like them.

I kinda like the bus, 'specially because it's got the roof windows in it, but it's just not appropriate for the H.A.M.B. Got any other projects?

Hmmm.. Don't like VW's huh? ****s to be me, doesn't it? That's all I dig and I just got here.
I'm not a bus guy first and foremost, or even at all, for that matter, but they are going up in value faster than hell, so I grabbed it. I've got to say, there are alot of goofy S.O.B.'s working on VW's at present, but I can say the same about the rod scene. I'd put my Kustom Kar Kulture knowledge up against any greasy-haired, pants rolled up, drivin' a 60's four door dodge, rockabilly hot-rodder. I don't dig VW's because I can't afford anything else or have no knowledge of anything else....I CHOOSE VW's over others. VW's like Fred Hidalgo's '64 turn me on. Nobody else?

Relax folks, I'm a professional. Innocent bystanders may want to take a couple of steps back.

  29. Unless of course you make a board burner (speedway racer) out of it.
I didn't even know that JAWA was makin' cycles in '48.
    That's pretty slick.
