Bought this car with a buddy last week and supposed to be an old race car. Took some primer off the door and found some lettering!

Appropriate name, Boogie Rat; it'll be "dancin' around" for sure with the altered/short wheelbase. And the plans are.....................? Is the driver position set back also? Butch/56sedandelivery.

Great find! Thats one tuff lookn' 55. F-gl*** front& trunk? Not alot of slick clearance there.

The '55 is very cool! Not so sure about the old artwork though? Looks a little like a 2nd grader drew it.

Great score on a very cool '55! But I'm getting an urge to see a Japanese Sci-Fi B movie for some reason....

Sanded down the original fender and it says Shenandoah so I'm guessing virginia since the guy we got it from said he got it from the richmond, va area....anyone from that area know a joe Pritchard that use to run a 55 ?

oh no not another rat ro- - Ha! very cool looking '55 - is it well built, or low buck 60's style? hope that you keep the rear tires under the body and do not do a full wheel well opening. possibly the name was inspired by a drawing that Big Daddy Ed Roth did ***led " Fat Rat Boogie". as for a previous possible eBay sale there is a 2011 ad here that sounded like it ended up on eBay "1955 Chevy 2 Door/Altered Wheel Base G***er" - no pics. also, a long thread started in 2007 "1955 Chevy G***er Owners Wanted? Post Pics"
