    Guys

I am looking for an original drawing or blueprint of the V-8 Ford Banjo or Halibrand ring gear.

I seem to remember one listed somewhere, but after a couple days of searching don't seem to find one.

I am primarily looking for the bolt pattern where the differential case bolts to the ring gear.

    Thanks for the help.

Ford archives has many of the original drawings and apparently will search and copy for a fee...there is probably some info from people who have done this in Fordbarn or from the Model A Ford foundation.
The number for the ring gear itself would not be in the parts book (you need a PN to get to the correct drawing file) because Ford always sold R&P together under a third #, but the number may well be stamped right on the gear itself. it would be within a digit or two of the number for the set.
Stuff like the pattern and also the exact sizing specs, countersink, etc. of holes will be called out...

    (R. Nacewicz, the Ford fastener guy at http://www.fordscript.com/ , is a heavy user of the Ford Archives for researching his products. He might be able to tell you how to hook up with the research service.)
