Any of you guys know of anyone reproducing the brake "plunger" that goes in the wheel cylinder.operates the brake shoe. also need the adjuster. orrr what years will interchange with them. need for my brother. I called myself looking but..........
Ask around....someone should have some used ones. Same parts were used from 51 to about the mid 60s. on cars and 1/2 ton trucks.
we have,i even had a old 59 elky rear, the plungers were rusted completely away. but those years help a lot. thanks. hell I got a 67 swb that i'm swapping rears on.
The plungers were the same for a while, the adjusters changed a bit earlier when they went to self adjusting brakes.
Try these parts from O'Reilly's H1414-2 link pins ($1.99) these work for sure and maybe their H1500 adjuster screw ($3.49).
If you cannot find what your looking for call this guy. Jim Hawes Longview Texas 903-660-2254. He has lots of parts.
these parts worked perfectly. a big THANK YOU for these part numbers. had to laugh tho,my brother got the same parts"kid" again ,ask him again for these," nope don't have em". ok look up these part numbers.uhh well uh wellll ummmm. thanks again.
