is this a sad end for a car that, was on the way to be a "back to life survivor"?
    did jesse1980 sell the car?
how did the car end up in a junkyard?

  6. damn! thats crazy to see the story as it played out. I wonder how it got back in the junk yard. seems it must be a serious turd for someone to s**** instead of save.

    The o/p;

9/21/10-states he ' found the car in a field' and has car for sale on Craigslist.
11/1/10-states car is still for sale
11/1/10-states car for sale is 50 Plymouth, not the 55 g***er.

2 years later the car is found in a junkyard. I'm guessing the o/p couldn't get a clear ***le and/or couldn't sell it and s****ped it.
Weird deal. The car looks to be rusty but saveable. A 55 that should probably be saved.
Any other info from the junkyard....

"i found it in a field in northern wisconsin"
    "Sheboygan"

Well if Sheboygan is "northern wisconsin", I must be in the arctic circle part of Wisconsin.

p.s. something goofy about this story...

Weird? So is someone going to get the car?

My thinking is that the car was maybe too far gone so the guy do***ented everything stripped the rear end out of the car and front end and might be starting with a better body? Just throwing a fly in the ointment!

Well went to that US 30 facebook site. Look at the pic I found there!

Guess this car will not be saved! I guess the guy wanted a wall hanging more than a 55 chevy with true racing history.

So if we see this car show up in a few years on the site we will know that it is a clone and not the original car. POS

Really too bad that the car wasn't saved. When you sold the car was it complete? Was it just too far gone to save? I wonder what happened what happened to it after you sold it and how it ended up in a junk yard?

The car was a full body. Rolled and was too far gone In my opinion. I had immediate regrets and wanted to just get it back and let it live out the rest of its life as colletable item. Too late now.

The car is beyond far gone! I have the 1/4 panel! Came off with my bare hands,I figured that was better than the crusher where it is headed to:(
