I purchased a air cleaner from speedway for my ford flathead. It is the 10" chrome. I didn't notice until I received it but my question is how do you attach it to the carburetor? There is no stud for the hold down bolt.

I misspoke. It does have the stud and wing nut. There is no place to screw the stud into.

Most flathead Ford carbs had a clamp around the aircleaner base. If the air cleaner wasnt made for a flathead carb, chances are it wont work without modification.
