We are ALL awaiting the word. It wouldn't be the first time someone discovered a part that work and bumped up the price. I know one brake and remote master cylinder unit sells for a lot more than the V.W. unit that it really is.

It's a simple image mistake. Not ALL of us are confused. While it would be great if it wasn't a mistake, it surely is.

The listed ones for $ 400 a pair are the same as 47-52 Ford p/u brakes cause thats What Im running on my 30 Ford with 42 Ford round back spindles they require very little modification to mount to the spindles and have the old look cause they are old also you can pick up those parts at a carquest brand new at least in co you can

If they offer a refund and they most likely do whats kept all the people in need of said brakes from purchasing them If they are right the juice was worth the squeeze...and we would have had a answer already If not we still would have had a answer by now

  10. 30 min phone conversation this afternoon and neither a positive or negative resolution was able to made as of yet. Supposed to call back tomorrow after they investigate more.

The one thing that is promising is they didnt give up.
    We will see.

  12. Not quite as simple as placing an order.
The part # is without a doubt for an electric unit. That unit has 9 holes Hence the -09. It's a dual pattern for a 4 hole and a 5 hole pattern. Need to find the part number for the picture and that's what's being hunted down.

  13. Lets hope it all pans out, you have a lot of fellow rodders hoping to snag some really cheap brakes.
Has anyone used the Bolling Bros chromed backing plates as shown on the link on the original post, if so whats the quality of the chroming like??

So, in the unlikely event that this all pans out, and they actually DO have a complete hydraulic brake assembly that uses a Lincoln look-alike backing plate and costs under $100, instead of announcing it on this thread, so all the smart-asses and naysayers can rush out and buy them, how about you just send out a few pm's to those of us that figured this was worth digging into? That seems fair. Right guys??:D

  24. See 2nd line of the first post on this thread.
See the bottom line of the esource page.

"Move along folks- there's nothing to see here.

Seems that a person 3 peoples ago set up the web page and that person is responsible for that pic being there. They have no idea where that picture came from or exactly what it is a picture of. They don't sell anything like that and haven't seen anything like that either with 40 yrs in the trailer business.

  25. wow what a disclaimer! lol

It was worth a shot. I was afraid of that, since all the other pics of the Lincoln backing plates looked a bit different. Thanks for the effort though. It would have been a sweet deal.
