Any suggestions on doing a disc brake conversion? What applications would fit my car, thanks.

'77-'79 Thunderbird, Cougar, LTD II and Ranchero complete front disc brake setups...spindles and all, are a bolt-on for '61-'64 Galaxies. These cars are easy to find in boneyards and the parts are cheap. Make sure you take everything from the donor car, including the master cylinder, combination valve, etc.

In addition to the cars listed above the 1972 thru 1976 Gran Torino as well.
A friend and I just picked up a setup like this at u-pull-it on a half price day for around a hundred bucks, spindles out.

How about for a 66 Galaxie? I had an article from a magazine once describing using the disk brakes from a Comet, but Comets are pretty hard to find. I figure there is something more common I could use.

Good God Man. You pull up a 5 year old thread that is unrelated to your question and don't have an intro to boot. FNG seems so appropriate right now.

Try doing an intro, and then the search function. Vacuum wipers have been discussed at length on here.

Wow... so do you have a vacuum wiper motor on your Galaxie disc brakes?

Well if you'd clarify exactly what the hell you want to know, we might be able to help you.

First you say yours is vacuum, then you say "not vacuum".
I did a quick search on Google and found a new electric wiper motor for your car on Ebay and posted the link.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR WIPER MOTOR?

Honestly, on my past cars with non-working wipers, I've just used Rain-X. It works great!
