Bondo and cement molds can also be used to stamp out only a few parts.I had video on my other computer of a guy demonstrating these methods,He copied the Ford script from an old pick up tail gate He made a bondo mold of both sides of the script . He made small frames out of wood around a piece of steel plate for a backing spread his mixed bondo into the mold frame then pressed the ford script into the wet bondo after that mold set up he added more bondo to the back side of the sheetmetal and topped that with another piece of plate . Before he seperated the mold he drilled down through this sandwich so he could put in some guide pins for aligning the dies in his press once he had the dies set in his press the way he wanted he removed the guide pins and stamped out 6 Ford script logos that looked just like the original one! I forget what he used as a release between the 2 bondo dies I think he painted the lower one then waxed it but I'm not sure about that .

    The top plate worked great.

Hammer forming is a great way to make stuff like that. I think Ron Fornier's book has some good info on it and I'm pretty sure Ron Covell has a video on hammer forming. I have a selection of wooden mallets that I use for just that type of thing. Nice job!
