    Hey guys I have a all original steel bodied 31 chevy and im having a hard time finding a appraiser for insurance purposes in my area. The car is all orginal has about 60k on the odometer and im wondering a ballpark of what you think its worth. Thanks in advance.

    Misuse of the forum? Im just asking a question because ive already called a couple companies to get the car appraised and cant find one in my area. I cant find many original 31 chevies to get a ballpark of what its worth so I can insure it accordingly.

    Just from the pics it looks prety nice so if it's running,complete, and in nice condition probably around 10-14K. Any chance you could post or send me some good pics of the trunk latch and striker plate

    Man that sure is a nice coupe.

    Up here a complete running vehicle run $8000 - $35000 (recently restored)

    For insurance purposes, I would compare it to the value of a similar Model A.

    Repairs from an accident to the Chevy may be more expensive than a Ford but the market value of the Chevy is probably less.

    A '32 coupe in Mass recently was listed for 12,000. Don't know if it sold, it was unrestored but pretty nice.

    My car was restored in the early 80s by my uncle and has been pretty much garaged since then until I got it from him.

    I will get more pics this weekend. The car is very clean and all original. I will be finishing up the interior on it over the winter.

  13. A good source for info might be the vcca.org Lots of info, and guys that know old chevys. 20k+ if it's completely restored as an original.
