Guess I've been Lucky! Everything I had came in a timely manner with no back orders and no problems!

Uh went there about 5 years ago with our car club,to the back to the 50's show, we got the wonderful show around the shop and facility. All the while the person leading us on tour was explaining how great it was now that they had shipped all their fabrication and design to Taiwan I looked at all the great machinery in their shop and wondered what happened to all the people running them "oh they were all let go" .... It was a sin to see all the great tooling just sitting there and patterns and pieces up on the wall just so some dip**** can make a few more bucks. He's probably sold it all by now but I don't give a ****. After that trip I won't do any business with him anymore. That was it for me.............. And yes I did order and receive the binder, a great Idea of course this from the guy that thought it was a great idea to go off shore, its a reminder every time I look at my library shelf of Flathead stuff that there is a ****er born every minute.

Bob Drake and his crew ****. At one time their catalog claimed that everything was made in USA. I ordered wipers and they came with the little gold warning label, "Taiwan". Drake refused to respond to me

I ordered from them just last week. Calling them is next to impossible so you have to order online. I always try to buy elsewhere before going to drake.

Well, I'm glad some of you at least got a coupon, which I didn't. I paid Bob $25 in real cash,l and I handed it to HIM personally. I want HIM to pay me back $25 in cash. He doesn't realize that that $25 has cost him thousands in lost revenue. Once bitten, twice shy.

I haven't bought anything from him since that binder. I have my 25 coupon but the running boards I wanted were back ordered and didn't get them.

I haven't been on the board during the holidays but want to post a followup to my original cry for help in contacting Bob Drake Co. My last post on the 22nd explained my problem and frustration. Having finally found time to visit the board I found a personal message from the general manager at Drake asking me to contact him personally to complete my order.

My original intent was to simply find a "back door" at Drake that could ***ist me, I did not intend my thread to become a forum for bashing Drake, but I do hope that some of the remarks help them identify service problems.

The credit card issue has been corrected and the parts have arrived. Hopefully when I can make the time to check them out I'll find them to be of the same high quality that I've always received from Drake.

I needed some wiper arms a couple months ago and I recall a certain type of wiper arm that they offered but I couldn't find any reference to it in the literature I had. I'm not sure if I had seen it online on in an ad they sent. Anyway, I called them and though I no problem getting to a salesperson, the guy I talked to had no clue as to what I was talking about.

I took a chance and ordered what I thought would be the right wiper arm. I ordered it online and I got a quick confirmation and the parts showed up just a few days later, exactly what I needed, fortunately.

Although I was not happy with the guy I spoke with, I have never had an issue with the quality or fit of anything I have bought from Bob and every time I have spoken to him in person at a show, he has been polite and personable. I do hope the type of problems people have been posting about are temporary. Bob has done wonders for our hobby over the years.
