Thought I would put some pics up of my 53 ford I'm rebuilding at the moment I got the car last year from the states dead stock and drove it around for afew months here's a pic when I drove it to the shippers First drive after rego with my wife and dog Then when it came into my shop BMV engineering So at this stage I started stripping it down and get the 4 link and bags done using Accuair Under carriage is all painted and rolled it out side to have alook I was thinking of driving it around for another few month but thought I would just finish it now So started getting it bare metalled and changing the head lights ,tail lights, grill and afew other little body mods And where its up to now after 7 months of night work And early mornings I painted it 2 weeks ago and pretty happy with it for not being a painter The best part is the next day getting it out of the booth and seeing the side profile Just waiting on a few things for its now but got some of the parts back on Thanks to a fellow Hamber I got these 53 ford 2 door stainless trims and cut them down to suit the front wheel arch. The radio wasn't working so I thought of this the other night for my Accuair remote don't really like the look of the remote looks a bit new for the car so this is what I did. Love the Cusso's, had a '56 Crown Victoria myself about 25 years ago. Lot's of trim to polish though.
Great work on the '53! I keep getting some cool ideas for my Customline, I dig the headlight/taillight changes.
Damn love this ford. More I see them the more I want to get one lol Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
1953 Fords rock...had a Mainline with a flatty and Ford-O-Matic; great engine, lousy transmission. Like the tunneled tails. What are the headlamp doors from?
