History Looking for nhra early 60's-late 50's

    I remember a guy who ran a Packard ( I think it was a 1949) and had a national record for it's cl*** in the early 60's, or late 50's. Does anyone remember him?

    Dave Koffel, E and F/G Flintstone Flyer '49 Packard US nats cl*** winner, '62/'63. In later years, factory backed mopar racer, and did development work on the B-1s

    A quick google search will yield dozens. Car is not what I would call obscure by any means, although color pics of the blue version are hard to find.

    I think I have a picture of it blue, I will look. It was taken at the NHRA Nats. in 61, 62, or 63 at Indianapolis.
