Inline 6 guy from California

    Need help "REPLACING" closed drive line on 1949 Chevrolet with modern open type. Where to start?
    I will be using my 1974, 250ci. Mike Kirby Lump Port engine

    Wife`s 1952 Chevy Styline Deluxe I am just about done with putting a `59 261 truck engine with 700r4 trans using a s10 rear end 4WD still got to get a drive shaft thinking early 70`s Nova. I think your motor front mounts are different may even be easier than what we had to deal with as side tall mounts had to get notched for exhaust out of the Fenton split exhaust.     Sorry I Missed the Chev part have spent a week looking just saw in closed drive shaft
