Hey gang My father in-law has had this car for 35+ years and I got tired of seeing her sitting in the garage dying a slow death covered in boxes and sitting on flat tires. I took the car from his place and decided to go thru all the major systems and get her back on the road. New brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes, turned drums and some brake liens that broke during removal. Flushed coolant system, new hoses Ditched the points for a Petronix setup, new cap, rotor, plugs New Coker White Walls, cleaned and painted the wheels Dropped the fuel tank and flushed the entire system, new rubber hoses, filter, ect... Rebuilt the Rochester carb, new filter Cleaned the chrome as best as possible considering the surface rust All light bulbs replaced, sockets cleaned Flushed Trans and rear axle fluids... She runs great, just got it tagged and registered so now I'll have the winter to find a few missing bits and work out some more bugs before spring.
It has a bit in the normal places. Since its a solid driver I will tackle it as the time and parts are collected. I have two other full blown projects that need attention first.
