I'd like to see some pictures of hudson/es***/terraplane cars but PARTICULARILY Hudson step-downs, I plan on starting to work on mine in the spring and I'd like to steal all the modification ideas that I can, it saves a lot of time when you don't have to do something 2-3 times to get what you like and what looks good.
My 49 Commodore is just a survivor with a hot hornet motor. Only mods are 12 volt neg.ground,ign.points eliminated, full flow oil filter, Clifford aluminum head, and header. Only mods planned are maybe dropping it an inch or two. Stock 3sp/OD means 70-80 mph cruise is no sweat.
that is a great lookin ride, most folks don't know (and possibly don't care) hudsons set records in 1952 that stood until 1992 when ford finally broke their record, they were SMOKIN olds/ford/chrysler hemis/and everything in their time.
[all I can say is WOW!!! that is one wild lookin hudson custom!!!is it rhd? quote=Wyld Deuce] [/quote]

Hey, there sure are some cool Hudsons, here! Here are a couple of pics of my buddy's chopped '51 Commodore (parked next to my '56 Cad), taken at the Road Agents' Hot Rod Rumble, in Hartford,CT '05. (sorry, but those are the only pics of the Hudson I have.)
Where did ya get those WideWhites on your Stang? I just thought about it. I know some Hudsons, should I post of some pics of them, they are my neighbors.
Believe me I was very leary about it! I only moved it when I had to. Not bad for a Harbor Freight special.
WTF!!!??? I DID NOT PUT THOSE PICS IN HERE!!! SOMEONE F*CKED UP!!!! AND IT WASN'T ME! Heck!! I don't even know who the F**K that is!
The mustang pic is a pops up up now and then, it's a plague, phantom....who knows but it is a pita. Not sure if anyone knows it's origin.
Anyway...here's my second attempt to post the pics again!! Take two: Lots of nice Hudsons here! Here's some pics of my buddy's chopped '51 Commodore parked next to my Cad at the Road Agents' Hot Rod Rumble in Hartford,CT.
Not really crazy about the Hudson bodies, but the Twin H always intrugued me. Anyhow, you Hudson folks should have been at our local southern Oregon swap meet a couple of years ago. Two Hudsons, both with 308s, were offered for sale. They both looked as if they had been out of the weather for quite some time. $2500-3000. I believe one still ran. Don't you just love to hear about things two years later?
